The specialty of the house, close-up shows are for small groups of up to 35 people. The
laughs are plentiful and the magic comes at you fast and furiously as illusions are
presented right before your eyes with common objects such as coins, cards, and rubber
bands. This is an excellent entertainment venue for small private parties, trade shows,
and "thank you" celebrations for employees or special teams.
Walk-around
Also known as strolling magic, this format provides personalized entertainment for
large numbers of people by allowing the magician to wander through and mingle with guests,
performing spontaneously as impromptu groups form. Usually, each small group consists of
from two to five people, ensuring that most everyone gets to "touch" the magic
and have it happen right in their hands. Walk-around magic is great for introducing people
to one another, helping the conversation and laughter get going, and helping people feel
welcome.
Table Hopping
Table hopping is a form of walk-around magic, and is used when the guests will be
seated at tables for a meal. This format is perfect for restaurants, banquets, receptions
(especially wedding receptions!), and picnics. The magician
visits each table and provides a highly personalized, private show. Aside from the
entertainment aspects, table hopping can help the flow by filling in when your guests are
waiting to be seated and/or served, between courses, or as a transition while everyone
finishes dining and begins waiting for the next event to occur.
Hospital Shows
Combining community service with sharply reduced rates, this offering allows you to
send live magical entertainment to a hospitalized friend, relative or associate for about
what you might pay to send flowers. Personal, close-up magic is performed right in the
patient's room, with an act specifically designed to lift spirits and promote the magic of
healing. As the old saying goes, laughter is the best medicine!
Platform
Also known as stand-up magic, platform shows provide entertainment and fun for large
groups of people at once. The magician, positioned on a platform or stage, performs
effects that can be clearly seen and understood from a distance, ensuring that everyone is
part of the fun. Platform magic provides astonishment, stand-up comedy, and a large amount
of audience interaction: volunteers are called up to assist in effects, and often the
entertainer leaves the platform and walks among the guests to have someone pick a card; to
borrow a ring, coin, or bill; or to have something examined. The length of a platform show
can be tailored to your needs.
