A Lifetime of Magic!
John Macko literally has been performing magic since age five. His introduction to the
timeless craft came when he saw a magician perform for his kindergarten class. John was so
entertained that he sneaked back to see the following showagainst the rules. A magic
set soon appeared as a gift from his parents, and he has been performing ever since.
For Your Eyes Only!
John specializes in close-up magic, or, as he likes to put it, "amazement right in
front of your eyes." "If you've ever had seats in the front row of a concert,
met a celebrity, or even gotten the front seat of a roller coaster, you know that there's
nothing better than having the entertainment be right in front of you" says John.
"That's the feel that I want my audiences to havethat the magic is happening
just for them."
The primary venues to which John markets his close-up astonishment are
conventions, trade shows, special events, restaurants, hospitality suites, receptions
(especially wedding receptions!), and parties.
Hollywood!
John is a Magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts
of Hollywood, California, and is one of less than 2500 magicians worldwide

best in the field of magic, and enables him to continually improve his own
skills by attending lectures, seminars, and conventions.
